still a fan of yamauchi's character-driven directing...i guess that phrase isn't very descriptive? his shots and colors and imagery are attentive to the feelings of the characters...grounded, cartoony, sometimes highly expressionistic if the emotion is strong enough to justify it

I like to depict the engines based on their realistic basis. I find that it helps to make the engines and characters more grounded and tied to real life, making the World of Sodor seem all the more real and accessible.

For me it was T.Hawk. I got into competitive Street Fighter when I was 16 via local tournaments. There were some toxic people that would constantly throw insults to try and diminish me, but I always stayed true and saw T.Hawk's caring and grounded disposition as inspiration.
