Whenever we see Ark-Zero & Azu interacting or doing anything within the same timeframe as each other, it would essentially be Ark focusing half of its overall functionality to act out as both, with Azu being a hard light hologram. Otherwise, it's just the Ark acting as 1 of them.

Jem and the Holograms got a comic adaption in recent history that keeps the spirit of the cartoon while updating things for a modern audience. There's also a movie but it's our equivalent of the ATLA movie, we don't talk about that. It really deserves a proper cartoon reboot!
