Tbh comparing these two might be the best representation of repeatedly drawing the same character and improving since they were both done by hand. There is about 3 years between them!
[2009] I got an actual photo editing program that gave me fancy soft brushes! My shading was… improving… lol. But the MS Paint MM Link is a big improvement over the Toon Link.

Im Panzer, I draw especially the soulsborne and elden ring theme, I like to draw a lot in night backgrounds and put lights to make a drawing of a warm atmosphere in the dark, I'm still in the process of improving 👉👈
@EwylanaR Thanks for the share! I love that I’m getting details right for characters, even my own. Lately I’ve been going a little slowly to getting minor things right. I feel my backgrounds are improving too though not by much.
