This is why it bothers me when artists get shit for lightening skin slightly in bright light. Obv actual whitewashing happens A LOT but I've seen people colour pick the tone from the original like "See yours is lighter!" eg.

this isnt anything big, but was like a lil project. i drew the first image with the general idea i had, and didnt like it obv. I drew the second image the next day, working on parts that i wasnt proud of or just wanted to change, and then the third image on the third day lol
