Mine is that the FF should be super-villains. Their origin starts with the theft of a rocket to support selfish goals. Monstrous transformations reflect villain creations. They were not punished for their crime.

This isn't exactly how it was meant to be however, there is an unfinished asset of a Vertibird that was meant to be hit by Prime. Curiously it starts with its landing gear down and raises them as it crashes. Makes it seem this was cut rather early on for whatever reason.
