No offense, but this is related here. As long as ppl going to keep this drama alive and keep making stereotypes, it never going to end, NO matter who started...

They were definitely a bad kind of stereotype back in the day but honestly everything that made them stereotypical is still mostly there, now they’re just less interesting and with more boring character designs. It’s the ultimate downgrade imo.

oh and don't get me started on the stereotype of psychosis=dangerous

Hey, it's So here it's me, still fighting against prejudices and myths about autism. Which stereotypes of disabled people do you have to debunk?

Happy I’ve been doing so much research in hopes of writing Saku better so I can create a non-binary character that isn’t a poor representation! I know they’re a bit of a stereotype being fem representing and using he/him pronouns regularly, but I really am trying!

I really like to draw and be too creative, I like to take normal things out of the typical classic or repetitive stereotype

Hi! I'm Sarah! I'm a Dyslexic animal artist, and recently, I have been portraying the pros/cons of dyslexia (without the typical stereotype) in my traditional paintings. When I'm not painting, I usually draw fanart digitally!

Stereotype ,,Smart people do nothing but read" is still out there. Yeah Senku likes reading and do Science but what makes him feel even more normal is seeing him doing stuff most of kids do - swinging on swing, callect comics, figurines, posters, video games. Senku so adorable 🥺

@/spaceKnightz told me to revert the Bird gender appearance stereotype and proposed the idea of a setting that all pigeons look relatively normal with exception of this really weird fancy pigeon so i doodled this extremely anime creature

That said, discussion about correct monetary value for custom artwork, etc, may be an exception. Artists being chronically undervalued by society is a problem. We should be able to provide for ourselves and our families, not expect the dumb 'starving artist' stereotype.

Hm. So like, sorta edging toward the camp gay stereotype in the former? Wallace Wells comes to mind...

Any LGBTQIA+ folx have opinions on him or the Scott Pilgrim series in general? Good rep? Bad? Either or both?

I can tell ya, Paris doesn't hold anyone's key in Raison.

Let "paysanne" Rin glare at you for the romantic stereotype :P

Ursa: i am never afraid to embrace certian bear stereotypes like grabbing salmons in a stream. though i never expected a powerful surprise fish slap.

Something i needed to pull myself out of an art stagnation. btw this idea was too funny to leave out.

Living as a racial minority can be exhausting. It takes time for us to learn that racism is not a problem located in us or our communities, but how we are subjected to unfair and damaging stereotypes. Here's something we made recently about racial stress.

is all about heroes, and we've created some sample Heroes for you to use as good examples of pre-generated characters, or a way to create the hero you want, even if it's outwith traditional sword & sorcery stereotypes: https://t.co/qle9oSVRJr

Also, Forge is a strong Indigenous comics character who can play against stereotypes, and he’s been around for over 3 decades. He could use a name, especially one that acknowledges his Cheyenne heritage (such as Daniel Lone Eagle). If anyone has a Marvel hook-up…. 3/3

People only have issues with *negative* stereotypes.

There's no one out here complaining that Asian's are shown as smart, or that Black people are good at sports, or that gay men have good fashion sense, Or Aussies are surfer's and BBQ-ers.

he looks the stereotype beach douchebag guy who plays his shitty beach music too loud and pretends to be good at volleyball
