i just find myself drawn in by his moody yet delicate design. he's all cold steel and sharp edges, he's got that perpetually mean expression, but you can somehow tell he has a small frame even though there's not much for scale in these images. it makes you want to root for him

Another character who always secures the bangers & tbqh her unidolized fes art is BEAUTIFUL but somethin about the way they drew her face, maybe the shape/her expression, doesnt really feel quite right to me

We call this a “呆けた顔(stupid funny face)”, but it's not a silly expression, but rather a friendly expression.

I love the anime too but Harukawa's design is a blessing,you can feel the tenderness and worry through Dazai's expression,knowing how much Chuuya is suffering and touching him delicately to not hurt him more,holding his life under the palm of his hand,whispering reassuring words.

Did you notice how the colors changed with every page?
One can see how much thought, work and love went into each page and panel. Each expression, pose and perspective was different and probably hard to draw.
