Vanilla's preferable as far as the story is concerned. The QoL improvements from Golden are amazing, but the new events break the tone, setting and pacing of the game by constantly removing you from the quiet life in Inaba. Also why'd they oversaturate everything in a fog town?

A sequence of close ups in big panels with small changes feel intense but intimate, and a close up in one big panel has impact, etc etc (2/6)
