Some of my early process work for the challenge piece, did my prelim sketching in Photoshop so I could move/resize and make use of layers to really create depth, then printed to do a tight sketch in pencil and brush pen line.

*a young Art Adams submits a prelim that is nicely drawn but lacks focus.
*Romita Sr. lowers the P.O.V., groups figures tighter, adds more movement and a common point of origin.
*Adams follows his direction, resulting in an iconic cover.
