On this #RemembranceSunday, Curator Andrew Choong talks about the days after the war and looks at how the war didn't end for soldiers on the ground (and on water): https://t.co/3Y2anExNJS

Working with @TheRugbyTown, it was an honour to include Ronald Poulton-Palmer in the rugby legends series. Having captained England and with 17 caps, he lost his life in WW1. Today we remember their sacrifice, for our today. #RemembranceSunday
"When you go home tell them of us and say: for your tomorrow we gave our today."

This #RemembranceSunday we especially remember & honour the men of the 6th, 8th & 9th Battalions Durham Light Infantry who landed on Gold Beach in Normandy 75 years ago as part of the #DDay landings.

It is so important to remember the fallen and to take just 2 minutes to stay silent and pay your respects. #RemembranceSunday
On this Remembrance Sunday, we commemorate the 600,000+ African soldiers who defended Britain in the Second World War. Some of these men were sent to the front lines against their will, once colonial officials let it be known that they needed more numbers to fight their war.
Disappointed I missed former @Boro player, John Harkins 1906-1908, off the roll of honour. Also I had no photograph of 'Baldy' Wilson & used a generic bald player to represent him. He wasn't bald at all! 'Baldy' was short for his christian name, Archibald. #RemembranceSunday
@lane_flo @PendockPrimary A total pleasure. Always love seeing children's work on remembrance.
