以前はあまり好きではなかったのですが、描かれている図の元となる図はこれかなと思いながら観ると、さらに興味深く観れるように。

構図も素晴らしく、とても好きな図版の１つです。
少しシミが目立ちますが、1830-40年代、フランスで製作されたものです。

Its name comes from the 'Perch' that it replaced. The Perch was a timber construction on which a lantern was displayed as a beacon to warn ships about the rock on which it stood
