One way to stay motivated drawing is to develop original characters with stories, personality, and appealing design.
It's addictive uncovering more about them. Drawing them with new outfits and ideas.

Captures the original appeal but deviates enough to add its own character. Great use of color and some interesting perspective by having the curve of the Earth in the background. Goku feed dragon = good.
This shit looks raw as hell but I feel like half of the appeal is it looks super faded and idk if ink that close to skin color exists or even looks that good lol

Much has been said about KnYs animation but I really wanna highlight how "cinematic" this series feels.
Generic concepts are elevated to an almost operatic level through a great adaptation that embellishes the appeals of battle shonen.

of course, confusion. It wasn't that DC just wanted to sell us that shitty full of stereotypes cover and changed their mind when they saw the backlash they got from latinos.
Still, DC doesn't wanna appean to latinos, they wanna appeal to white americans that use the word "latinx"
So I colored a piece MrDemonHell (on deviantart) sent me. All with his permission of course!
I used watercolors with watercolor pencils & a bit of pastel to get some blush in. It was fun to work with someone else's linework and I kind of get the appeal of those coloring books now
These two artworks when Dazai is holding his suicide book while he is actually not reading it at all,totally distracted by the world around him because he is with Chuuya,and together the blue sky and feeling of freedom is way more appealing than death,just enjoying genuinely life
