I'm honestly surprised how little of a role Bluto had in the Popeye animatic

I thought he'd chase Popeye for the ring the whole way through instead of sitting in the ocean for a large chunk of it

The scenes he did have though were pretty funny

Just finished the Popeye animatic.

It isn’t perfect, I think the biggest problem was just some blatant modern references here and there. But even then, it was few and far between.

As a whole, it’s truly Genndy’s love letter to the character and would’ve visually looked great.

4. Realize some problems in the script
5. Add/Remove scenes for better context
