- the texture is painted over the "sketch" + the normal map in greyscale on Photoshop
- the result, after back and forth between Blender and Photoshop.

clip studio works well for painting, imo! i use it for all of my work now, and i feel like the brush system is more user friendly than photoshop. if it helps, here's some stuff i've been doing with it recently :')
