Add Lost Stars to that collection.
It's an angsty YA romance so it fits the meme, but also it is legitimately well written and is my favorite Star Wars story.

There's a manga adaptation, but it skips so much it becomes incomprehensible without knowing what happens in the novel.

One thing I noticed, almost everyone talking about faraway paladin under posts about the anime mentions the manga. There are so few people talking about the novel (at least thats my experience). Hope the anime helps more people to find the Novel.
