@Atrix256 Was watching a video from Gale Banks this morning, reminded me that this actually comes up in ABS sensors too - it's a little bit different, they call it hall effect, but basically the idea is very similar - the pulses track the rotation speed of the wheel under braking
Picking a dedicated astro-camera is difficult because the sensors are all so very small.
