When working with darker toned skin, try to add some colours to help contrast

Draw attention to the face

This one helped me a lot, imagine you can not see colour, if the colours are not all one gray blob, it is good colour contrast

My goal for next month is to try do digital art every day, even if it's a cute little blob, I want to try to expand and do more :)

I draw out a blob, erase around it and use the smudge/blur tool to make a specific splatter shape, then i add darker shades and shine if it needs it

that's generally how i do it and it's easy to experiment when i do it like this.
