Hi! I'm Rachel, a traditional artist. I enjoy drawing animals and things in nature. I use watercolours and graphite & white charcoal.

Here's some of my favourites pieces. Hope you like them too.

‘In the shade’ ink, watercolour and charcoal. From a hot day’s work as I sheltered in the shade in the high banked lane. This part of the road is really narrow so few cars use it. I didn’t have to move my easel once while I was painting

Weird ass art twitter makes me feel right at home. I've always felt too weird to exist, insecure over all, but finding a bunch of other weirdos makes me feel human, too. So here is some of my weird art. Digital, watercolor, and charcoal.

Maybe one day I'll see a puffin IRL. In the meantime, here's one in watercolor and charcoal.

Quick little Carol sketch (10 mins) because all my neurons need to unwind after being stretched like taffy for school. Recently found this new dry brush preset in Krita and I LOVE it. Feels like charcoal.

The Arcane Emberlynx, the fiery affinity gives this Illuvial all the features of a burning beast. Its skin looks like the cracked surface of charcoal. Its fur glistens with tar slick, and gleams in the glow of its flames. channel always packs the goods.

‘Lockdown lane walks: Past the potholes’ ink, watercolour and charcoal. Down towards the mill past the bit of the lane that has deep potholes that keeps traffic at bay around here.
