I've seen a lot of Tomino's works like original Gundam, Ideon, Dunbine, etc.

And you know I'm a fan of stuff like Muv-Luv.

I've even seen this scene before even starting Victory.

But man.

This is rough.

It was a shock to go through L-Gaim and Dunbine to discover that the Zeta's own gimmick was done *twice* prior to its occurence! They really made 3 shows in a row where the second mech's gimmick was to transform/fly

I really REALLY love how the Billbine recolor looks. Wish we got to see it more throughout Aura Battler Dunbine rather than just the final episodes.

Aura Battler Dunbine wasn't a perfect show. But its fruitless to try and reduce my perceptions of Tomino's Byston Well to a metric rating.
Dunbine evoked, it evoked often. I was impressed by it, and now that it's finished I'm glad to have engaged in such a passionate work.

Dunbine has it all. Fairies. Cool bug mecha. Classic, timeless Tomino dialogue. Better Isekai then every Isekai that came after it. Great soundtrack. Swords and revolvers as standard small arms. I can keep going

You're welcome. Dunbine especially is a treat; the series just has such a magnificent aesthetic, even if the shows buget can't always fully capture it.

I’d definitely like to think Slime Rimuru is named after Dunbine Rimuru but that seems unlikely at best.

Anyway there’s also two Gabirus and they’re both extremely hammy.

聖戦士ダンバインの再視聴とNEW STORY OF AURA BATTLER DUNBINEの初視聴は終わりました。
ダンバインは前から好きでした。今度は前よりツッコミ所が多いと思ったが、相変わらず良作だと思う。
OVAは殆ど空気。綺麗な作画と素晴らしい声優陣以外、ストリーは「雑」、「意味不明」でしか形容できない。
