Out of all of my OCs, Reikou Shinzokumaru is the pinnacle example of "throwing everything I like into one character design" and I love her.

Another classic, the Lunatick! Such a mystical, alien-looking design, with a beautiful color scheme. This is one of the designs that stood out the absolute most to me playing Dragon Quest IX. Even as a kid, I saw it and thought "that is a DAMN good creature design"
I wouldn't call this a "redesign" of Mi Ru, but more of a reimagining as a fanged beast rather than a flying wyvern. Many "flying" wyverns probably would translate much better as fanged beasts IMO!
Though I'm biased and I really like quadruped monsters :)

I think I started doing "graphic design" at this time, till 2013 when I finished highschool. Madness Combat was very popular at that time haha. I started experiment more using brush and less lasso/shaping in flash. Did I mention I was using mouse the whole time?👀5/
One change I made that I'm very proud of is how I handled the bangs and eyelashes. I noticed there was potential for perfect meetings of lines that Surge's OG design didn't take advantage of. I wouldn't call it "fixing the design" but I do think it was a bit of missed potential.
