It's commonly said that the last witchcraft execution in England took place in Exeter in 1682, involving Temperance Lloyd. But in 1716, Mary Hicks and her young daughter were hanged in Huntingdon, as the mother had convinced the girl to sell her soul to the Devil.

4 years ago I was part of an illustration exhibition at the where we each chose an iconic Exeter building to illustrate. I chose the Odeon cinema as I loved the art deco style and it also gave me the chance to draw some of my fav movie characters!
