Not a wrong way to make a persona really, just preferences from person to person. I for example, more or less made "me but a dog" as my fursona. Size wise I made him honest, he'll only be slimmer when I am.

I've been workin on this character for a bit but I think they are slowly becoming a truesona/fursona. Started out as just a sketch but I've just about made a complete ref for them. I plan on changing my style in the future and then giving them an anthro form :3
