8. "Gleipnir" by Takeda Sun. One thing I like about this manga is that it took the battle royal-genre, but spared us the whole exposition part. We are just as clueless as the protagonists in this life-or-death game.

The anime I enjoyed this year was fire force, invaded, Akudama Drive, railgun season 3, in/spectre, tower of god, god of highschool, gleipnir, rezero, no guns life, rent a girlfriend, sao, and dragon quest.

I documented instances of object transformation across fiction which drew for my lecture panels slides, when Gleipnir was released it was a big shocker since it was one of the few instances of Inanimate TF community ideas in mainstream fiction so drew a lot of Gleipnir

In a lot of stories & comics involving such a subject normally the transformed fursuit tries to avoid being noticed, so remains silent like a lifeless costume only being forced to reveal themselves under certain situations, normally always with blush like how Gleipnir protrays it
