Cerberus is not just the three headed hellhound of Hades, it's rather an obsolete constellation. The stars are now part of Hercules, one of the fourty constellations of the astronomer Ptolemy. Cerberus was depicted as a three headed snake on old star maps.

While researching the look for my OC for "Champion of Olympus" I came across a pretty close match to what I had in mind.
Its Hercules from the "Hercules: The Knives of Kush" comic series.
Now, my character ISN'T Hercules, just inspired by his look. Hope I described him well.
