Smthn I realised I was drawing wrong recently is the withers; see the way that the withers actually extend ABOVE both shoulders - unlike lots of mammals this means there is NO dip between shoulders; the highest point on a horse's back is the withers at the centre base of the neck

found a horse base and used it to play around with sword horse's design... originally i gave them three short scars over their right eye but i had the thought that it'd be way cooler and more evocative if they had one long scar from their right eye down the side of their neck
