Thank you! I put acetate sheets on the scanner bed and paint as it is passing through.. a bit like action painting on a smaller scale. Then just a bit of adjusting and layering.. some pretty interesting outcomes when the acetate gets moved about, too.

Don’t remember if I mentioned this, but I really like Strombonin but it does have some issues, like the layering issue with the hand, the mouth not being centered with the head, and Strombone’s eyestalks sprites not blending well with the body.

I tried a new way of layering(sorting and adding more layers) for my work to improve but its taking a lot from my tabs performance, evident by its lagging and crashing.

Hence the reason why Im currently doing commissions. To earn money to buy better hardware, specifically a tab.

traditional art tip: ive never used a fine liner that doesn't bleed at least a little when using alchohol markers. you know what NEVER bleeds? cheap gel pens. i went crazy with layering here and nothing
