[wip rts ok] i managed to render most of the clothes and put down all of the base layers so i can start properly rendering the rest of the painting tomorrow :)
i also cant wait to add his glasses cause theyre really fun to paint when using opaque paints like gouache or oils

Yeah that's what I'm wondering, if shadows were painted solid black on a layer below. I've seen some examples of that on animation cels (googled). Seemingly opaque paint.
