Might be jumping the gun a bit but ROTB might have my favorite design for Optimus Primal. The blades are the cherry on top for this design. Nightbird Mirage and Battletrap are also great though I’m not a fan of Nightbird and Mirage’s Battlemasks

Looking at Transformers RID, I find it funny that Scourge is literally just G1 Optimus but grey, while the actual Optimus has his own unique design for his respective incarnation. A really bizarre clash in aesthetics for sure lol

I think a lot about these two bits of IDW1. The matrix took Optimus and changed him and he hated it, and he thought it must be that way for every prime, and when he finally got the chance to talk about it with someone he thought would understand he realizes no, it only hurts him.
