My version is more similar to real anteosaurids like Titanophoneus, but not saber-toothed lizard/sort of crocodile. It also have spotted color pattern with dark bands on the prehensile tail (you can notice tail "pad" also). Here's original design (© Weta Workshop):
another fun fact, Chryssia's tail isn't completely prehensile
it lacks a lot of grip strength, but it can still curl around things
unlike say, Lucy, most of its ability to hold someone in place comes more from weight than strength
