Though not always given the best storylines (writers change from time to time), these are some of my favorite female heroes in the comic book mythos. From ancient priestesses to super-powered empathy, these women are stalwarts in showing how incredible they are.

I know I’m probably the last person to notice this, but I think it’s fantastic that Shutendouji has two dolls that look like princesses/ priestesses attached to each one of her shoulders. Where she’d throw them over during her many kidnappings.

After a near death battle against a powerful demon, the goddess Rhya sends one of her priestesses to save your life

Who is she? What does she want? Will it involve lots of fucking? You will find out in the next chapters of this series

In which Tully breaks into the wrong Priestesses' house.

Also of course I decided to make Agnatha 10 ft tall. If there's a production in which all the monster ladies are all under 6 foot it's fair to assume I had no part in it

Almost all magical forms originate from shamanism or the cult of the natural to reach the supernatural.
For example, it is curious to note how the priestesses of the nuragic civilization wore pointed hats that distinguished them.

And to conclude tonight's post, a familiar elf, a Cirran priestess, Tessu. Hailing from a crystalline desert and worshipping a goddess of gold, priestesses use instruments like bells to channel their faith.

Part of a birthday gift I received from sleepy several years ago.

Atma, one of my planer goddesses. She resides in a hidden village, occupied by her cow priestesses. They often roam the lands in pairs, providing aide and comfort to others around the world. To the right is Ivory in the middle, traveling with two of Atma's followers.
