You know what? TROS is just like Disney live-action remakes. They « remake », they do fan-service, without understanding HOW the original story/symbolism works! It’s just an illusion. It looks like Star Wars, but it’s not Star Wars because they took every SW meaning away!

WB/WAG's live action films could be the antithesis of what Disney does with their remakes.

Think about it.

Their upcoming films are hybrids that aren't remakes aiming for realism but rather a reimagining and an adaptation both embracing the cartoonyness of the property.

Unsolicited opinion but I give Mulan’s remake a 7/10 it was shot really nice just lacked the oomph, heart & laughs of the original. Had so many moments that would’ve worked amazingly but they fell short. Jungle book is still one of my favorite remakes.

I really like the cover art of the japanese Wizardry games and remakes. Though the minimalist style that was used in the original games was really good, i prefer this style for the covers.

Like, a big chunk of them. I seriously think I will die repeating over and over, as I have for years, that the Crash franchise is ABSOLUTELY NOT totally worthless outside of the ps1 games and their remakes.

I'm more for encouraging developers to create new IPs rather than hash out remakes. That being said, if there's one game I wish would receive the 'Final Fantasy VII Remake' treatment except for the ending, it'd be 'Skies of Arcadia'.

I do love the consistency of keeping Rotom with us from onwards. I loved the Rotom Dex in the Alola games and the Rotom Phone in while it isn't as nice, is still good to see. I hope Rotom possesses the Poketch in Gen IV remakes.
