@hedgewizardgame I have some forests the player will go through in my game too. To avoid frequent repetition of the trees locked to a grid, I created a handful of tree clusters I can slap together wherever I need them.
Even just using 2 clusters, it looks a little more organic
Once I get to the final comic page draft, I discover I can cut a lot of that repetition and convey the depth of feeling via facial expression, blocking, and body language. It shows how much I don't think of the visuals when I initially write but they ARE there for a reason. (2/2)

ok... these are a few of my personal works from the past 10 months. Im always learning, exploring & pushing myself, I don’t like to be boxed in. Repetition is dull. I sculpt, model, render, paint and draw.
