In this case, the winner has this wheat field (2) that I first cleaned by cloning some parts in AE (3) and then retouching the color (4).

I had done some light retouching on this image. I'm sure no one noticed the things that bothered me. I also decided that the the cut out signature stamp was more appropriate for this illustration rather than the "handwritten" signature.

a lot of value can be pulled out of seemingly a little by playing with curves. this is how the drawing *actually* looks when scanned before retouching, it is a lot more dull looking beforehand
