The Hoenn region is a completely different setting and is one of my favorites. The routes are more unique, the areas have more style and the entire region feels dynamic and fun to explore. Some of my favorite locations are Sootopolis City, Fortree City, and Route 119.

Here are the two routes FG could use if he goes to Hermopolis. Left is faster, right is slow but frankly stupider. For his own sake, it's better to take the Nile if traveling south, even if gods are watching. I can't imagine FG has enough equipment on him for the long route+
