#162: Live A Live (The Distant Future)
The main character doesn't speak a word and only fights a single enemy, but the tension throughout and the interpersonal aspects make for a totally engaging experience.
Easily the best chapter so far.

This one's tough. It starts really well, but the more I think about it the more it's just kind of...ehh? The characters are a load of nothing and the story is needlessly overstuffed.
The climax is great but that's about it.

Two great chapters in a row! Present Day is very much like the Wild West chapter in that you've got a very simple story (even more so here, there's no free roaming at ALL) but it's presented in such a fun way that you don't even care.

"Reality is cruel but also simple." While the concept is engrossing, every conflict relies solely on Tanya (ex-salaryman becomes a ruthless militaristic child-mage solider) and "her" quest to try and get one up on Being X ("God").
#158: Live A Live (Twilight of Edo Japan)
One of the most ambitious chapters in the game, but also one of the most tedious and frustrating. Good luck doing a pacifist run without a guide! That said, the climax is great. Too bad it's a bit of a slog to get there.

Fascinating read - before Rebuild, prototype Mari is a little girl that is a genetically-altered, cat-human hybrid. Very nice action sequences, Super Eva dual-wielding the Kesara and Basara blades is just beyond cool.

VOL. 5 is very bittersweet and dark (with an intro to characters like Mayuko and Kureno), it also, in a sense shows more mirror-opposite examples between Akito (closed-off, selfish) and Tohru (open, selfless).
#146: Live-A-Live (Prehistory)
These chapters are basically complete games in their own right, so I'm gonna rank them as such. Prehistory makes for a great place to start since enemies don't hit TOO hard nor are the mechanics hard to grasp. It's funny, too.

Finished My Crossdressing Senpai. This was an masterpiece manga for me filled with amazing drama, characters and story. The ending was really satisfying and the development of the characters is amazing and handles topics of LGBTQ+ and Crossdressing really well. My Score: 10/10.

The first wuxia-type of novel that I have ever read, thus I found the character tropes interesting. The novel reads like a stage-play (note: haven't seen the dònghuà, this is my first impression).
