How bad is Native representation in general that when ppl told me there's a Native-Mexican character in SF6 I braced for the worst possibly stereotypical stuff? I'm so pleasantly surprised by how awesome this design is. It's unique & references culture w/o relying on stereotype.

oh my gosh!!! in total agreement!!!!! I’m also glasses wearer and firmly believe there need to be more magical girls and other characters who have them, keep them, and without the stereotype shy or nerd personalities!

(funnily enough the only cure I’ve designed is green, hehe)

wally from pokemon in japanese is named “mitsuru” (ミツル), right?
“tsuru” (つる) is how you say crane in japanese
there is a legend that if you fold 1,000 cranes, you can get a wish, stereotypically to heal from illness, and wally is partially named after this!

It's not bad, but she slimmed Krone down a lot and stuff.

A lot of people had problems with Krone’s design in the anime/manga as she was a stereotype, but I (personally) didn't mind it because she at least had black feature that wasn't exaggerated
