I've been struggling to design my fursona for... several years.
Here are some examples of fursonas I've tried, i like them, theyre just not.. right? lol.

a few things, Not a huge fan of tans? (browns ok) I seem to gravitate towards cats. lol

this is the final for this magic user emissary - lots of layers, some uses of bone/tusk (hilt of the knife, closures) added some texture patterns. I went with blues and tans to call back to the drone a little bit/complement it (rather than being matchy matchy)

I'm still trying to get some last-minute tweaks done before I go and do a test print run tomorrow morning (or well I guess later today) but I at least finished the color illustration that will grace the cover of my FGC-tans book
