I have my qualms with the quality of the anime, but the good parts were great. Iwami Manaka truly nailed Mahiru. And the anime did portray the wholesomeness quite well.

If you want more sweetness, LN has even more detail. Such a cute romance series

I've read 4 vols of the LN and while I wouldn't say this was a notably bad adaptation, it really just highlighted the issues I have with this series; namely how bland the romantic chemistry between the main 2 is and how shit of a character Amane is.
