Day 9 of YaMAYto!
Today is Piccolo Day! Or Goku Day, depending on who you ask. I took that as an excuse to draw Yamato in Akira Toriyama's artstyle! I did my best

Toriyama's original Cover Illustration contribution for WSJ No. 18 (1989/04/04) — Son Goku dynamically gathers ki for the Kamehame-Ha! The full cover, containing Dragon Ball's 218th chapter, also includes the other Saiyan arc characters
finished another chapter cover, gotta say this one was fun to do and one of my favorites from toriyama's works
New Majin OC I purchased from @Lovepizza26.
Absolutely love her design.
Since I always try to stick with Toriyama's naming scheme for DB characters, I've decided to name her Barada.

There was something very loud about this art style that I couldn't put my finger on, but for some reason I liked and found endearing... I think it might be because it reminds me of Akira Toriyama's early art style... Am I the only one who thinks this haha
Toriyama's CD for floating resident of Beers' Planet, Foreseer Fish in "DBZ God & God" (2013/03/30) — Within the "Akira Toriyama × Shoko Nakagawa Interview", he envisioned the design LARGER than a human but neglected a size chart reference for the staff

Day 18: Katsuhiro Otomo
Even if you don't like his or Toriyama's work, you have to respect how they popularized manga and anime in the west
yajirobe says: eat your beans so you can grow up big and strong #dragonball #anime #fanart #bara (in honor of akira toriyama's birthday)
Today's Master #AkiraToriyama's Birthday and is a GREAT opportunity to remember this letter he sent to Master #MasamiKurumada and was printed in 1982 in the 23rd volume of #RingNiKakero. Defined as a genious where he had to bring his best effort by the creator of #SaintSeiya.
I redrew my earlier illustration and went for Toriyama's style during the early 2000's. I think it came out really well
Akira Toriyama's style is so iconic. Some of my earliest art was attempts to draw SSJ2 Trunks, SSJ3 Goku, and Piccolo.
@WarTurtle95 @DBKHD @DbsHype His designs are based on Toriyama's, and as someone's who's supposed to be following his style, obviously he would pick up certain aspects of it.
