#SciArtSeptember Day 23: Arboreal
Juvenile northern #goshawk (Accipiter gentilis buteoides)
Like the #sparrowhawk, this elusive #bird is bound to forests and parks with old trees for nesting and shelter.

The prompt for day 21 of #SciArtSeptember theme is 'evolving'. Everything around us is evolving every moment, I decided to go with a panel of salmonids. One family and look at the diversity within species!

#SciArtSeptember - Earlier this summer, I got to watch a Dragonfly metamorphosis in real time. Took about 20 minutes for the little creature to “evolve” from a fierce water monster to a swift flying predator.
That has got to feel *jarring*.

#SciArtSeptember Day 21: Evolving
Life cycle of a meadow #grasshopper (Pseudochorthippus parallelus)
I really like the #Orthoptera order. For next year, I am planning some bigger #paintings with these special - and underrated - animals.

Kelp and Sea Otter for #SciArtSeptember day 20 word prompt of “Botanical.” Without sea otters eating sea urchins and other invertebrates that dine on giant kelp, the underwater botanical forests could be devoured to non-existence. @liz_lagomorph & @FlyingTrilobite.
#20 for #SciArtSeptember is "Botanical." 🌿
Another topic I really enjoy exploring! Here's my series of 4 botanical dinosaur illustrations:
Parasaurolophus & Palms
Tyrannosaurus & Sassafras
Stegosaurus & Ferns
Brachiosaurus & Ginkgo

What are your four favorite animals? Pictures only!
God, only four?! #SciArtSeptember https://t.co/V1A6FRgH6E
A corpse flower was an easy choice for the #botanical prompt and day 20 #SciArtSeptember. @kunhm had theirs bloom just last week!
Cosmos (see what I did there? Hehe). Botanical prompt for #SciArtSeptember

The haystack of Pacific City, Oregon (not the more famous one in Cannon Beach) for today’s #sciartseptember “cerulean” prompt. This rock and all of Oregon’s sea stacks are cool — leftover volcanic basalt from a jillion years ago (that’s the scientific term, right?)
Day 5 & 6 #SciArtSeptember: Intricate & Kinetic
The human body is so complex and cool, I decided to show the anatomy of the hand with the muscles and blood vessels for Intricate.
Kinetic I just thought I’d be funny to do this gesture I see on tiktok a lot ✨🏳️🌈
#SciArtSeptember Day 15 "handmade"
Science of fermentation + edible elements of the landscape = seasonal meads. Some of ingredients we've mixed and matched. Japanese knotweed takes special care to harvest without spreading it. Trying out fully digital sketching & new styles 🤔
Puuh, insect-artshare! That's special. 🤔
Thank you @RhodeliaRosea for the tag and your great insect artworks! 👍😀
Here what I could find in my archive.
I like to tag @caseybella3 @PaulMurphyBooks @claspi @HowlingBeast75
