You know, it's likely that most of the designs are going to very much of a reminisce of the 2012, Rise, and even Bayverse designs, but mostly 2012. That was the show that everybody 25 and under had seen as a kid and it's going to be their biggest influence.

FUUUCK I think I lost it...anyways the sexiness of optimus roughly correlates to how many war crimes he has committed, which is why you could, reasonably say that his sexiness goes from like idw=bayverse>tfp>animated (other ops sprinkled somewhere in the middle)

well .... remember optimus bayverse, well in the dotm prequel comics written by Barber they depict Optimus as a madman, his relationship with elita started out pretty (they even visit a robot orphanage) but after the death of sentinel, optimus only told her "what a good soldier"
