After the positive reactions to the 1st part of the Kimi ni Todoke spin-off (now who would've thought XD), Unmei no Hito is back in the latest issue of Betsuma. Can Sawako help Kurumi and Akahoshi find happiness??
Looks like there's a new KimiTodo comic volume on the horizon...

So, in a lonely island situation where I was only allowed one shoujo manga magazine subscription, it’d be Betsuma! They’ve had this perfect balance between mainstream hits and newly discovered intriguing talent for years and years and I'm convinced it'll stay this way.

And then there’s the curious case of Takano Ichigo whose talent was discovered by Betsuma. Then they dropped her & her series orange which went on to become a massive hit after Futabasha/Gekkan Action picked it up again. A successful new ed. of Dreamin' Sun also followed. Ouch.
