I would have to say from the long list.. John Byrne. His work on Uncanny X-Men, Fantastic Four, Superman, Alpha Flight, Incredible Hulk, Avengers West Coast.. long list of stuff I enjoy and still enjoy to this day.
I have this poster still.

This was based on the John Byrne Man of Steel run, right?

Wasn't it Silver Age that is what most people think of Superman? I began with John Byrne myself.

I think about the tiny scar idea far more often than is warranted.
I prefer it.

Doom is SUCH an egomaniac that the tiniest imperfection is hideous.
Great psychological drama.

But… Byrne met Jack and Stan halfway with a bigger scar.

Then cranked it to 11 with a red hot mask.

A very happy 70th birthday to that masterful inker Terry Austin! He exploded on the scene at the Big Two simultaneously with Byrne's X-MEN and Rogers' DETECTIVE, and his precise, detailed style is obvious at a glance (and he's dabbled in writing & his own art). Have a great day!

Some panels from the Sensational She Hulk comics by John Byrne (and team)

Jen doesn't like her clothes being ruined.

Here's some typical John Byrne She-Hulks. She's still more jacked than the show's design.
Also, the themes of her comics (loving your unique body & seeing it as a gift not a curse), would only become MORE resonant if she was incredibly bricked out like the previous pics.

Did you know…

…that the cover of my one-shot comic, Space Story, is a direct homage to John Byrne’s X-Men 137 cover?

And now we lost Tom Palmer, too? One of the all-time great. You never wondered if a page was finished by Tom Palmer, but he did so much more than just ink a page. Here's just one example of that--Palmer's inks, washes, and colors over Byrne pencils. R.I.P., Tom.

Guess you can tell what I’ve been watching 😂 and I’m all for this crossover to happen!

SheHulk-I like how they got to it and using John Byrne arc as inspiration. He was my art idol!

Extraordinary Attorney Woo-❤️ it and I plan on doing more!
