Yeah definitely, I have that problem too 😅. And also, like if you see below where I circled, when you get to the edges everything starts to look really stretched in 3 point persective? I think having vanishing points further away lessens it but then you don't get the cool effect

Your technique is really good! I think the issue has to do with some areas (the circled ones) needing a little more lighting. Sorta looks a little too dark compared to the rest of the hair.

Honestly how I go about it is thinking more in a 3D space with how you do construction.

Like the parts circled are my "Landmarks" to know the orientation of the body.

For anatomy I just break it down to it's basic shapes as you can see with the back.
