Today's introduction will be Chitose, Nothern Gravekeeper of Nishiki. Based off the Chitose Station in Hokkaido, her thematic and local landmark is the Kiusu Earthwork Burial Circles, the largest tomb built in Japan 3200 years ago.

1) The card printer recommends having any important text/graphics inset by 1/8", so the footer has been bumped up.
2) The art is zoomed in a bit 'cause they also recommend a 1/8" bleed to avoid white edges.
3) The new icons are based around circles, so rounded corners!

I don't like g5's designs so I took a stab at redesigning them! I mostly just wanted shape language and color/theme coordination back so I made them have distinct shapes (circles, triangles, squares), distinct colors (reds/blues/purples) and a connecting theme (art/music/dance)!

I know a lot of people start out using circles, but I prefer to use square shapes (or I use circular shapes and try "square them"). I usually use human hands as a reference, I don't know if that was helpful. AND WTF YOUR PAWS ARE SO FUCKING CUTE!!! I look at them and I 🥺💘💓💝💖
