@HaleyJean_Tho I use FireAlpaca with the correction all the way up because I do not have a stable hand with a mouse. I use several layers but I usually do the lines and color. Sometimes I shade. I use Gaussian Blur for glows and sometimes with dark shading.
Occasionally I draw with MSPaint.
2022's self portrait... good lineart is nonexistent, the gaussian blur feature is my new lord and savior, and rendering is my enemy but thats nothing new
let me show u this think...
i gauss it look good:0

@truekaiser_ my go to for blending is usually duplicate -> bottom layer gaussian blur/top layer overlay while also feathering the edges of the top layer; feathered edges were just "blending for dummies"
OOPS forgot to add the gaussian blur to the lineart !! here it is without the background ! still new-ish to this style so forgive me if i forget some things SKFGDHS
teaching myself how to properly blend (rip gaussian blur) and working out how i like to do fur 🥰
No major changes, kurangin kontras shading+gaussian blur here and there. Tambah layer buat lighting. Tambah BG random+partikel melayang2 di udara lol tapi aku suka dua2nya 🤔
@LeafyDream0 gaus is short for gaussian blur which is a type of blur effect
Its just a stylistic effect really and can hel remove some blemishes in some cases

My piece for #tennocon2022 featuring Gauss (my beloved) and his buddy Grendel!
@Pur_Orange bullied me to line weight and gaussian blur a sketch lmaoooo (thanks for the help Daisy)
Work in progress:
I am trying to picture a generalization of the modular group, in which integers are replaced by Gaussian integers. (a + ib). At the vertices on the sphere you get all Gaussian rationals (a+ib)/(c+id).
I hope to be back with more soon.
