I know they never could've pulled it off, especially in KHII, but my dream versions of Donald and Goofy in the Pirates of the Caribbean World would be if they were just "hyper-realistic" literal animals wearing clothes, just like Jack the monkey?

But I like them in KHIII, too.

I just find them more fun. I feel as though the hyper-realistic designs can get overused. Plus these guys are just easier to draw.
