Once again, having an art spark.

This time, it's Samurai Shodown's serene, but deadly warrior of Nature, Nakoruru!

I wanted to capture her reluctance to fight, but still showcase that deep inside she can throw down when the time is right.

I have interest to indigenous culture and roots, history, relation with others etc.
But this new heroes design is not cool….

Her name is Nakoruru.
She is the Ainu, are indigenous race around Hokkaido.

Is there anything Ainu related in popular culture?

* The character Okuru from the anime series Samurai Champloo
* The character Fredzilla from Big Hero 6
* The characters Nakoruru, Rimururu, and Rera from Samurai Shodown
* Horohoro, from the manga series Shaman King

SNK just won't let us go that easily. Turns out Samurai Shodown, review of which you can find early in the list, has a spin-off, which had OVA which was... unfinished.
Still it was 30 minutes, so we have included it. Why?

I could say Patchouli, Miyuki Takara, or Nakoruru, but I think there's someone earlier.

I could say Sabrina from Pokemon, but the term didn't exist yet and I was too young to understand.

I guess by technicality, XP-Tan was my first. https://t.co/nnV8YoB7Lr
