this design dates back from a drawing i made in school in early 2019.
here he is based on a horned toad that camouflages as a leaf. i ended up sort of revisiting the idea back in 2020, but i think i prefer the 2019 version more.

I'm thinking of a story involving this smug leaf. To summarize, a normal Snivy stumbles across an toothy grin and puts it on. He then gets corrupted, changing to a more smug personality and soon grows bigger and fatter as a result.
