Still learning.

2019-2022
I have yet to be where I want to be, but I’m still learning. Also I just like seeing my progress :)

Honestly, you just need to learn fundamentals and practice. There are definitely things worth learning. Like color theory, perspective, anatomy but you can also do so online. I personally only know from learning online and high school art classes, and I'm entirely self-taught.

2015 → 2022
I still have a lot to learn, but it is just that. Learning.

She took a bit, but I am very happy with how she turned out. Some wonky lines...but I am still learning how to do things. Shading is still a hurdle I can't understand, so I try my best. I am still learning.

Saw this floating around and wanted to join in~

Back then, I almost quit. There's no "secret" to improving, and perfection is an illusion. You just have to keep going and inject love into what you do. We never stop learning.

- Pic on the left is from 2007. I've been around for some time. I saw the rising stars and I did pay the price for doing (almost) everything you shouldn't do when learning. But hey, I'm still here and kicking.

I decided to start drawing in 2016 when I was 19 years old, and now I'm here. No art school, no mentors, only practice. I think it's ironic that Dark Souls inspired me to start learning.

Ooof. 2015 vs 2021. I’ve been drawing for 20+ years to reach this level and I’m still learning.

2012 to 2022. It's discipline. Practice. Learning. No "talent" about it, every artist works their ass off to get where they are! There's no magic artist gene that makes you instantly good at drawing.

I like the trend. It's not a talent, it's years of practice. And non stop learning. Here's my very first drawing with a drawing tablette, 2011, and 2 others from this end of year.🔥

It's long, but it's worth it! Look, draw and have fun, no matter your level !💜

I began art three years ago and I still have so much to learn. Every experience leads to me learning something new and I will never stop learning.

That's not talent, that's ambition.

"but I need AI art!! I can't draw!!"

Neither could we, until we picked up a pencil and started learning. Do the work, stop using software built from stealing our hard work and just draw.

If you don't want to put the work in don't expect us to congratulate you.

fck fake artists, if we all have to go through an ugly, bad art phase, you do too!! that's what makes creating art fun: growing, changing, learning.

sick of people thinking art is being "gatekept" by the people actually putting in effort lol

1 Year ago I decided to start learning how to draw so that I can draw friends and people that I love watching. I told myself that it was never too late to start learning.

Looking at the progress, I really am glad that I started 💙

Still learning. Still growing. Still trying. I'm often am not happy with my art. I'm not where I'm at. But I'm going to keep trying in hopes that some day I can make art that I feel is of the same caliber as the people I look up to.
